How fast can you supply a replacement officer?
For standard requests we present a verified shortlist within 24–72 hours. For urgent replacements we present available candidates from our active pool the same day; joining time then depends on port, visas and travel.
Can AIELYM work alongside our existing manning agency?
Yes. Most clients use AIELYM as an additional partner — a reserve pool for peak demand, seasonal rotations and urgent replacements — with no exclusivity requirement.
How do you verify STCW certificates?
Every candidate passes five checks before submission: document collection, authentication of licences and STCW certificates with issuing administrations, sea service and reference checks, a rank-specific interview with English assessment, and a final compliance review of medical fitness and visas.
What does crew manning cost for shipowners?
Candidate presentation is free of charge. A fee applies only on successful placement. In line with MLC 2006, seafarers are never charged for placement.
Which ranks and vessel types do you cover?
All officer ranks from Master to 3rd Officer and Chief Engineer to 4th Engineer, ETOs and ratings, for crude, product and chemical tankers, LPG and LNG carriers, and bulk carriers from Handysize to Capesize.
